Peng Yu was born in Bozhou, a city of Anhui Province, in 1990. He earned his PhD in Geography (Tourism Geography and Tourism Planning) from Nanjing University in 2021. And then, he becomes a lecturer and supervisor at the School of Tourism and Culinary Science at Yangzhou University. Dr Yu is a tourism geographer with particular interests in destination experience management and marketing, relationship between conservation and development in national park, and more recently rural livelihood transition and livelihood efficiency in the context of tourism. He has published more than 10 research articles in refereed international journals, including Science of the Total Environment, Journal of Travel Research, and Journal of Heritage Tourism.
