      Liquan JING, male, is born in 1985. He is a member of the Communist Party of China and a member of  the 15th Group of Science and Technology Mayors of Jiangsu Province, PhD in crop science, postdoctor in biology, associate professor, and master’s supervisor. He has visited Nottingham University, UK in 2013, thus financed by the High-level Talents Introduction Fund of Yangzhou University in 2016. Four years later, JING was funded by the Jiangsu Province Scholarship Fund to visit University of Queensland in Australia as a visiting scholar. He has become an evaluation expert of the National Natural Science Foundation of China since 2022.  

     His research mainly focuses on the research and teaching of crop quality and yield formation mechanism and its regulation.

     In recent years, Liquan JING focuses on the study of the mechanism and regulation of rice quality in response to environmental changes. It has been supported by 14 scientific research projects, including three national, three provincial, and two university projects. Research results were published in TOP journals at home and abroad, including Food HydrocolloidsScience of the Total EnvironmentEnvironmental PollutionJournal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, and Acta Ecologica Sinica. At the same time, Liquan JING is a reviewer of several international journals such as Frontiers in Plant Science, Food Research International and  Journal of Integrative Agriculture.

 Enrollment specialty: Crop Science, Agronomy, and Agronomy and Seed Industry (an alternative of combined training with Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences). 

     Research Fields: Rice quality formation mechanism, strategy  and its principle for crops to adapt to climate change based on biological collaboration.
