Associate Professor, master‘s supervisor. He is a key member of the team of the national broiler industry technology system and Jiangsu agricultural (broiler) research system, a member of the World's Poultry Science Association, and a member of the Poultry Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine. His research is mainly focused on genetic regulation of chicken fat deposition and muscle development, chicken quality safety, and nutritional quality evaluation. He has published over 20 academic papers in "Foods", “Food Research International", "Heredotas (Beijing)" and other journals as the first author and corresponding author. He presided on 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China, 4 projects including Jiangsu Natural Science Foundation, participated in the editing of one monograph. As the main contributor, he participated in the bred of the new national broiler breed Haiyang yellow chicken. He was awarded the honorary titles of the most popular teacher among students, the most popular class adviser among students, the campus pioneer, and the summer social practice advanced worker of Yangzhou University.
