薛明，副教授，博士，硕士研究生导师。

 研究方向为植物分子遗传及功能基因组学研究，主要为玉米耐高温基因的挖掘与利用。在The Plant Cell，Plant Biotechnology Journal和Journal of Experimental Botany等杂志以一作和共一发表SCI论文多篇。

主持项目：

（1）国家科技重大专项,抗虫转基因玉米2A-7新品种选育及测试-子课题；

（2）国家科技重大专项,抗虫转基因玉米2A-7新品种选育及测试调增-子课题；

（3）沈阳市重大科技创新研发计划，玉米耐高温基因和育种材料的挖掘与利用；

（4）中国博士后基金，玉米耐高温QTL定位；

（5）江苏省青年基金，玉米耐高温QTL-qHT2-1的克隆及育种利用；

（6）江苏省重点研发计划，玉米耐高温基因的克隆与功能验证。
