Profile

王益平,男,江苏特聘教授,扬州大学教授、特聘教授,江苏省双创团队核心成员,江苏省植物病理学会理事,博士研究生导师。2012年毕业于中国科学院大学/中国科学院遗传与发育生物学研究所遗传学专业;毕业后在香港浸会大学生物系开展博士后研究。2017年3月任香港浸会大学研究助理教授,香港浸会大学深圳研究院副研究员。2023年3月入职扬州大学植物保护学院。

      主要从事植物-病原物相互作用分子机制研究,先后主持国家自然科学基金青年项目、面上项目、人社部国家外国专家项目等8项科研项目,获国内专利两项,以第一作者和/或通讯作者在New PhytologistJournal of Integrative Plant BiologyPlant PhysiologyPlant Journal等国际期刊发表多篇学术论文。

Prof. Yiping Wang is a distinguished professor and a Ph.D. Supervisor in the College of Plant Protection, Yangzhou University. He got his Ph.D. degree in Genetics from Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2012. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow and then as a research assistant professor/associate researcher in Hong Kong Baptist University. He joined Yangzhou University in 2023. He mainly focuses his research on molecular mechanisms of plant-pathogen interactions.
