秦爱建，扬州大学教授、博导、教育部创新团队带头人,禽类预防医学教育部重点实验室主任。兼任中国畜牧兽医学会禽病分会副理事长。主要从事预防兽医学的教学和科研工作，承担国家重点研发计划等课题30余项。获国家科技进步二等奖1项，美国农业部荣誉证书1项，新兽药证书3件，发表学术论文200余篇，授权国家发明专利30余件，培养博、硕士研究生120多名。曾任国务院学位委员会第六届学科评议组兽医学组成员、教育部兽医专业学位教育指导委员会委员、全国动物防疫专家委员会禽病专家组副组长、扬州大学兽医学院院长等。入选国家级新世纪百千万人才，省有突出贡献的中青年专家，全国优秀教师，江苏省"333高层次人才培养工程"首批中青年科技领军人才，享受国务院政府特殊津贴。
